Description

A boater's boat, the Norstar 360 cruises comfortably and confidently at speeds from 8 to 25 knots. Her well-defined hull shape provides dry, safe and soft ride especially when sea conditions pick up. The modified-vee design with its fine entry forward and moderate deadrise aft provide exciting performance, excellent sea-keeping and great fuel efficiency.

Superbly engineered, strongly constructed and beautifully finished, the Norstar 360 is built using the finest materials and best equipment. Configured and outfitted for year around cruising, powered by twin Cummins 380 hp diesels, she has many safety features including ample side decks and welded stainless steel railings for safe passage to the foredeck.

A spacious master stateroom features island queen berth with large drawers underneath aft, and massive storage under the foreward end. There are two large storage shelves on either side of the berth with top-access storage bins. The port side has a double wide hanging locker, and the starboard side has a single hanging locker. There is a TV mounted on the aft wall. There is a large storage locker under the floor at the aft end of the berth.

The freshwater head has a large separate stall shower with glass door. The cabinet holds a sink and sliding door access to storage, with a mirror above, and two opening ports with curtains. There are also two drawers and a cabinet under the sink.

The large gourmet galley is open to the main cabin. There are three banks of drawers, a large cupboard under the 2-burner propane cooktop, and under-sink storage. There are also two upper cupboards, one forward and one aft, as well as open storage bins for plates and bowls. A convection microwave and large fridge complete the galley amenities. A fan extracts cooking smells and heat, as well as the two opening ports complete with curtains.

The spacious salon contains a breakfast bar with two stools, entertainment center, an L-shaped settee, a Stidd helm seat and a Stressless lounge chair for total seating capacity of eight. Large sliding cabin windows have shades for privacy. There are three huge drawers under the settee, and storage in the cabinet opposite the settee in a top-loading bin, and shelves accessed through the sliding doors. The cabinet also contains a small freezer.

The raised convertible settee provides perfect viewing out the large windows, and contains a pullout berth for guest accommodation and extra storage for the berth cushion and bedding, which is accessed when the berth is extended. The table is lowered by hydraulic lift with electrical switch in the galley.

The lower helm station provides 360 degree panoramic visibility and includes a complete suite of Garmin multi-function displays, auto pilot, radar and navigation software which are duplicated at the flying bridge. The electrical panel is located down the steps to the galley and is hinged for easy access to the wiring.

The galley stairs are also operated by a hydraulic lift which gives you access to the machine room which contains the inverter/charger, hurricane heater, and other electrical equipment.

The engine room can be accessed via a hatch in the salon floor, or through a hatch in the cockpit. It is clean and bright and gives easy access to the two engines, batteries, and other equipment.

The cockpit contains three hatches in the floor and three lockers in the transom. A sturdy door gives access to the swim step. Electric davit is mounted on the stern and holds a new Gala 9.8" dinghy. There is dedicated storage for two propane tanks, and storage for three gerry cans for dinghy fuel along with boat hook and deck brush storage. The main cabin is accessed through a sliding glass door.

A ladder from the cockpit to the flybridge is at an angle making it an easy climb. There are two helm seats, a table and a bench seat with storage underneath. More storage is located under the instrument panel. A full cover protects the flybridge in inclement weather.

Other equipment includes water maker; diesel hydronic furnace, electric dinghy davit, bow thruster, electronic controls with trolling feature, Smart Craft engine monitoring, diesel generator, inverter/battery charger with automatic charge relay, anchor windlass, engine block heaters, fresh and sea water wash down at bow and cockpit, BBQ with easy attachment to propane tank.

Custom features include teak & holly cabin sole, teak cockpit, electric cabin heaters (2), windshield wipers and defrosters, and maximum possible storage for galley, mooring, cleaning and personal gear, including a wine locker.

The Norstar's propulsion and running gear includes dripless shaft seals, four blade nibral propellers, cast bronze v-struts and rudders, fuel tank sight gauges, extensive engine room sound isolation and fire suppression. Norstar custom underwater exhaust, large capacity AGM batteries and hydraulic trim tabs.

In 2022 major upgrades were completed which include all new navigation instruments, autopilot, and engine panels, new inverter/charger, all new Ultraleather upholstery, and new Stidd helm chair, dinghy and outboard, etc.
